In many conversations about how people perceive psychically, a person will say, “I can feel it in my heart,” or “I have a feeling in my gut about this.” The 4 basic modes of psychic perception and influence are… 1. Intuition 2. Clairvoyance 3. Clairaudience 4. Clairsentience Intuition is just what you know, but you don’t know why. Clairvoyance is what you see, but not with the physical eyes. Clairaudience is what you hear, but not with physical ears. Feeling, or clairsentience, is what your emotional body generates. While the above are basic modes, there are more. The hands, the hair: facial and on the head, are antennas - psychic senders and receivers. For men and women, the longer the head hair the more effective. So, also, are the sexual organs, and the tongue, conveyers of psychic energy. The heart center radiates high energy to distances. The above diagram is from a book titled, Taoist Secrets of Love: Cultivating Male Sexual energy by Mantak and Maneewan Chia. This Chinese Taoist Master tells of “Chi” energy. The Chi energy is psychic energy, and it can relate to sexuality. The energy is sensed even when there is no physical contact, even when people are not physically close. Notice how an energy center, the crown, is depicted in the diagram. It is far too often that people engage in sexual activity with too much attention on their physical senses.  Look at the information about being a soul, rather than a body. It will help you to give more attention to the energy of sex, not just the physical sensations. This will help you to be attuned to spiritual dimensions in sex. People who are clairvoyant, and can see auras, know when a man or woman is horny, just by looking at that person, even from a distance. The colors radiate from the body. Elizabeth Gilbert wrote of how psychic energy can be felt from a sexual partner, and how when it was absent, it was not conducive to a long term relationship. Though she did not call it psychic energy, that’s what it is. Her point had little to do with the physical parts of sex, rather mainly what was felt  from the psychic energy. One thing I do know about intimacy is that there are certain natural laws which govern the sexual experience of two people, and that these laws cannot be budged any more than gravity can be negotiated with. To feel physically comfortable with someone else’s body is not a decision you can make. It has very little to do with how two people think or act or talk or even look. The mysterious magnet is either there, buried somewhere deep behind the sternum, or it is not. When it isn’t there (as I have learned in the past, with heartbreaking clarity) you can no more force it to exist than a surgeon can force a patient’s body to accept a kidney from the wrong donor. Stephen Arroyo, the astrologer and psychologist, wrote specifically about energy, in regard to sexual compatibility. …sexual compatibility or incompatibility essentially emanates from the energy attunement of the individuals involved. Such a view is quite incomprehensible to the therapists and “researchers” who insist on viewing sex as primarily a mechanical function (although they do admit it has some emotional overtones). This depersonalization of sex, and the accompanying separation of sex from the cosmic dance of life—which should be seen more as a religious experience than as a mechanistic experience—naturally leads to human beings who have sexual problems being treated in a mechanical way, and often with an overlay of extraneous intellectual analysis. […] Using astrology, on the other hand, to analyze individuals’ erotic and relationship orientations involves not only accurately describing their attunements but also recognizing the huge variety of energy combinations and modes of expression. After all, why does it often take decades to find even one person with whom you are especially compatible, if not for the complexity of the issues and personality factors involved?
